Clueless Japanese Banking

Perfect example of clueless banking. You go to deposit money into your bank account.  The ATM tells you you need to pay 108 Yen (about $1 USD)service fee because you’re depositing at 845am and not 9am.

Someone needs to come in and show banks in Japan how to truly be competitive.  This is a joke.  In my bank, I would want people to deposit money so I could loan it to others…

  1. I think it is interesting that the overtime pay (or starting work before core working hours) is given to machines but not to workers in Japan. Obviously this ATM has negotiated to be paid overtime.
