There are far too many things made of plastic or wrapped in plastic…especially in Japan. It’s becoming an environmental issue.
Avoid purchasing PET bottles is one thing every person can do. Pretty nice to have a stainless steel bottle and just carry your own water.
Highly recommend everyone get one with a stainless steel cap as well (on the inside). It minimizes and odors from drinking directly from the bottle. Incidentally, stainless steel bottles with plastic lids require a bit more frequent cleaning.
We heard that carrying your own water bottle has become the ‘in’ thing in the Silicon Valley area. Wow! Glad to hear we’re trend setters!
