Japan’s New Emperor, New Era “Reiwa”
We have just finished the Heisei Era for Japan with the abdication of the throne by Emperor Akihito to his son the crown prince. The new era is called “Reiwa”.

The cherry blossom season begins in Tokyo. These trees in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi district always begin to flower just before the full bloom of the cherry blossom trees in Tokyo. It’s s good sign.
